In the last few months my friends and I have fiercely competed on F1 24. We wish we had more time to race, but unfortunately our schedules rarely match and the only way to play together asynchronously is to compare our times on Time Trial mode. EA SPORTS and Codemasters already provide some amazing tools to compare your time with your friends, but unfortunately there is no way to see an overall ranking for all circuits.
With some free time on my hands , I decided to create something to give us bragging rights!
A lot of caffeine and 48 later, we now have a fully functioning app that keeps track of our best times and sync with a remote server, which in turn supports a webpage where all our times are displayed. Everything we need to do is turn the app on and play the game, and the data will update. The only catch is that if a friend beats your time just before bed, you might lose some sleep.
